Everything Adobe MAX has to offer creatives at this year’s hybrid event

Returning as both an in-person three-day conference in LA – with over 200 sessions and labs available to attend – as well as a digital destination, Adobe MAX remains a hub of creative inspiration .

Any fans of the global creativity conference Adobe MAX will know the event has undergone one or two changes over the last few years – namely, switching to a purely virtual event during the pandemic. This year, the event celebrates its return as an immersive IRL creative conference, although Adobe is still welcoming all those unable to attend in person. Adobe MAX is going hybrid, hosting both a three-day conference in Los Angeles and a two-day virtual event, with the latter entirely free to attend.

As ever, the conference is bursting with insightful sessions and special guest appearances – the perfect place for creatives to learn a new skill, find inspiration for that next project and connect with fellow attendees world over. Running from 18–20 October 2022, there are many reasons to get excited about its much-anticipated return.

To start, attendees can expect over 200 sessions and hands-on labs (with labs solely available at the in-person conference). For those considering the virtual route, Adobe MAX will be featuring over 100 global breakout sessions premiering with live chat with product experts, plus sponsored giveaways. Adobe MAX also has no shortage of expert speakers – perhaps one of the most exciting elements of any conference being the creative rejuvenation you receive from a great talk. For design and illustration fans, the roster looks suitably packed; you can immerse yourself in sessions from design heroes, creative directors and award-winning type artists. One need only look at this year’s line-up – which includes illustrator Mr Bingo, designer Zipeng Zhu, director Siân Heder and Sylvain founder Alain Sylvain – to whet your appetite for this year’s festivities.

If you’re looking for a more in-depth breakdown of events by your medium of choice, head over to Adobe MAX Sessions. There you’ll find info on tracks including Graphic Design, Illustration and Digital Painting, Photography, UI and UX, and 3D and AR.

Another invaluable aspect of Adobe MAX is building connections with other creatives. Via its Community Pavilion, you can find the MAX Marketplace, bursting with hand-crafted treasures and their creative makers, or you can head to Adobe Live, where attendees can immerse themselves in interviews with speakers and get exclusive glimpses at new product features.

To top it all off, in-person attendees can kick back and soak up the leisure side of the line-up with art installations, live music and food trucks at MAX Bash. Before activities kick off in earnest, Adobe MAX’s social channels are open now to connect with other attendees on Facebook and Twitter – a great way to get tips from returning attendees.

With in-person attendance limited at Adobe MAX 2022 – and with a line-up this enticing – we’d recommend registering early to guarantee admittance. Secure your spot by heading over to the Adobe MAX site, where you can register for the in-person conference in Los Angeles or the free global event online. Both will run from 18–20 October, with the pre-conference in LA commencing 16 October.
