After founding It’s Nice That in 2007, Will now oversees the creative output across all sides of The Hudson Bec Group which includes It's Nice That, Anyways, Lecture in Progress and If You Could Jobs.

Matt joined It’s Nice That as editor in October 2018 and became editor-in-chief in September 2020. He was previously executive editor at Monocle magazine. Drop him a line with ideas and suggestions, or simply to say hello.
Lucy joined It’s Nice That as a staff writer in July 2016 after graduating from Chelsea College of Art. In January 2019, was made deputy editor and in November 2021, she became a senior editor predominantly working on It’s Nice That's partnerships. After five years as It’s Nice That’s news editor, Jenny became online editor in June 2021, overseeing the website’s daily editorial output.
Jenny is currently on maternity leave.
Ayla is currently covering Jenny as It’s Nice That’s online editor. She has spent nearly a decade as a journalist, and covers a range of topics including photography, art and graphic design. Feel free to contact Ayla with any stories or new creative projects.
Simon joined It's Nice That in May 2015 as a social media manager, previously holding similar roles at Urban Outfitters and Ben Sherman. Becoming senior digital manager in 2018, Simon oversees all of our digital channels. Contact him with any social media or digital enquiries.
Liz joined It’s Nice That as news writer in December 2021. After graduating in Film from The University of Bristol, she worked freelance, writing for independent publications such as Little White Lies, Indie magazine and design studio Evermade. Contact Liz with pitches and tips for news stories.
Olivia joined the It’s Nice That team as an editorial assistant in November 2021 and became staff writer in April 2022. A graduate of the University of Edinburgh with a degree in English literature and history, she’s particularly interested in illustration, photography, ceramic design and platforming creativity from the north of England.
Amy joined It’s Nice That as a freelance assistant in January 2019 after studying a BA in Graphic Design at Camberwell College of Art. In September 2019 Amy joined full-time as social media and community assistant and in early 2022 she became our social media manager. Brittany joined It’s Nice That in July 2021 as a digital campaign manager having previously worked in a similar role for several lifestyle brands at a communications agency. Brittany oversees the commercial partnerships across It’s Nice That, working with clients such as Apple and Dropbox.
Will joined It’s Nice That as a creative in 2017 before becoming editorial art director in 2021, working on the visuals and commissioning across our editorial projects. In 2022, Will moved to the role of senior creative at It’s Nice That where he oversees the creative team on a variety of projects across both editorial and commercial.
África joined It’s Nice That in December 2020 as a freelance designer and joined the team permanently in 2022 where she works across our editorial projects and commercial partnerships. She has previously worked in the branding and film industry and has a strong interest in typography, art direction, graphic and motion design. Say ‘hola’ to África:
Rob leads the project management team and oversees the management of our commercial and editorial partnerships. Previously Rob worked at experiential agency Slice and is also a founder of the record label and events company, Numbers.
Josephine joined It’s Nice That in June 2016 having previously worked as an editorial assistant at Phaidon Press and catalogue coordinator at Frieze Art Fair. Josephine works as a project manager across editorial, commercial projects and media partnerships.
Sophie joined It’s Nice That as senior project manager in 2021, having previously led an in-house film and animation team within the advertising industry. Sophie manages the day-to-day running of the project management team, and manages our commercial and editorial partnerships.
Lucy joined It’s Nice That as a project manager in August 2019 and works across editorial and commercial projects. Previously Lucy worked as a studio and project manager for a motion design studio and before that as a community and education officer for Picturehouse Cinemas.
Mélodie joined It’s Nice That as a project manager in May 2021, having previously worked for a tech company to produce its in-person and virtual creative events. Mélodie works across editorial, commercial projects and events including Nicer Tuesdays.
Saskia joined It’s Nice That as project assistant in November 2021 after graduating with a degree in Drawing from Camberwell College of Arts. She works across editorial and commercial projects, including Nicer Tuesdays and Extra Nice.
Jessica joined It’s Nice That in November of 2015 as our marketing executive. Before joining It’s Nice That she spent time at creative agencies Albion London and BBH, and most recently as part of the communications team at digital commissioner for the arts The Space. Ornella joined It’s Nice That in October 2020, having previously worked as a partnerships executive working with brands to coordinate projects for the creative community.
